Welcome! This is a landing page for more specific blogs we are currently running, as well as a repository of our Christmas cards and letters. We thank you so much for your interest in our lives! At this point, we feel it's easiest to divide subject matter into different blogs and arenas as projects, experiments or other crazy life things come up!
We assume, since you've found your way here, that you already know the basics about us, but in case you don't, we’ve been together since August 2006, and married since August 7, 2009. We live in Shoreline with our chihuahua/yorkie mix, Vera, and our fishes. Randy is attending North Seattle Community College to become an RN, and plans to finish June 2014; Elyse is attending the University of Washington and pursuing her degree in Russian Language & Literature with a minor in Linguistics and will be done in June 2012. Currently, Randy works at Discount Tire as a technician, and Elyse works in the library on campus in the Slavic Section, as well as runs her own photography business. Elyse plans to work in Voice User Interface Design after graduation and to continue to grow her business.
For those curious, babies are not on the agenda until we have both completed school, at minimum. We are very excited about starting our family, but we also want to take our time enjoying each other and being able to fully support each other while we finish school, which can be very grueling at times!
